General Terms and Conditions (GTC) Cafe Neko Vienna

1. Scope of application

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all visitors to Cafe Neko Vienna, operated by Harald Franz Hauer Kaffeehausbetriebsgesellschaft m.b.H (hereinafter referred to as ‘Operator’). By entering the premises, you accept these terms and conditions.

3. Visiting Cafe Neko – House rules

Visiting Cafe Neko is at your own risk. The operator is not liable for any damage caused by the cats, unless this is due to intentional or grossly negligent behaviour on the part of the staff.

To ensure the well-being of the animals and guests, the following rules must be observed:

Respectful behaviour: The cats are not there to be woken up, chased or held.

No outside food: Feeding the cats with food brought from outside is strictly prohibited.

Parental supervision: Children are welcome, but must always be accompanied and supervised by an adult. The supervisor is responsible for the behaviour of the children.

No flash photography: Photography with flash is prohibited so as not to frighten the cats.

Hygiene: Hands should be disinfected after contact with the cats. Disinfectants are available.

Damage to property: No liability is accepted for damaged or soiled clothing and items brought with you.

In the event of violations of the house rules, the operator reserves the right to expel guests from the premises.

4. Reservations and payment transactions

Due to limited capacity, reservations are strongly recommended.

The operator reserves the right to introduce a minimum consumption per person without prior notice, especially on weekends and public holidays.

Cash and major debit/credit cards are accepted as payment (if offered on site).

5. Disclaimer

Animal allergies: Guests with known cat allergies visit Cafe Neko at their own risk. Liability for allergic reactions is excluded.

Transmission of disease: The operator endeavours to maintain the highest standards of hygiene. However, liability for the transmission of diseases (e.g. from animals to humans) is excluded.

Personal belongings: No liability is accepted for lost or damaged valuables and clothing.

6. Data protection

Personal data (e.g. for reservations) is collected and processed for the sole purpose of contract execution. For further information, please refer to our separate [privacy policy].

7. Severability clause

Should any provision of these General Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

8. Place of jurisdiction

The competent court in Vienna, Austria, is agreed as the place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contractual relationship.
